“The prior reviews were deceiving. Horrible experience all around.”

“There was vomit in the stairwell the entire stay. No fridge in the room. Poorly maintained pool and hot tub. Low grade breakfast. Smelly hallways. I expect way better for $279 a night.”

“Clean and everyone was super friendly.”

“It was fine for a quick 1 night stay while traveling back home. I cleaned the bathroom mirror myself because it looked like there was dried toothpaste on it, ick. But the toilet was clean. I also cleaned the glass rings off the nightstand between the 2 beds. It needed water and elbow grease but I got it clean. Bathtub is old and stained so I didn’t use it just used the washstand. And I’m really NOT hyper clean but those things weren’t too nice. Refrig was convenient.”

“I enjoyed our stay, however the door to room was hard for us to open and the bathroom in room needs remodeling. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly”

“Great little retro motel! Extremely clean! A++++++++”

“Our room had roaches. Then they offered another room. That room also had roaches. Then they were to refund my money with the staff members name on this card. I’ve not received my money. I complained to Expedia also.”

“Great place with lots to do inside. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook.”

“Shower pressure was just right and the toiletries were nice touches for the price we paid. Overall very happy with what we got.”

“It was awesome. Everything was perfect. There is so much to do that you can always stay busy. It rained 1 afternoon, but it didn't slow down the fun because we were able to just move into the gym and keep doing something.I would highly recommend for a family outing that wants options to stay busy.”

“Got in late, but our room was ready and quiet. The shower had good pressure too. Free WiFi worked well for catching up on emails before bed. Really appreciated having a private bathroom after a long day.”

“An adorable, tiny cabin in a lovely lakeside location. Very private and quiet. A perfect place for restoration.”

“Two nights spent peacefully, plenty of small details impressed me like fresh toiletries each day.”

“Property was great-lots of space in the House-garage presents itself for a gathering-for all seasons! kitchen and communal areas-great for visiting. bedrooms were nice. For our group-4 unrelated adults-the bathrooms-one with shower-one with bath-presented the opportunity for juggling-but it worked out! Game room in basement was fun-great feature for all ages. Host was gracious and accommodating in sending something I left behind. I would stay here again. Parking was ample on the property.”

“Ample parking options along with polite staff created an enjoyable vibe during my visit, I'd return again while passing through!”

“Property was clean and as advertised. Just be careful of the floors especially at the entrance to bathroom. The lip up to get into the bathroom is a big trip hazard especially at night when you forget it’s there!”

“My wife and I stayed in one of the wagons located in Arcanum. It was a great stay. Peaceful, quiet, and just a great experience! We would stay again.”
